Miss Jill grew up in Foxboro, Massachusetts where she trained for fifteen years at various dance academies. Following her local dance training, she graduated from Bridgewater State University with a concentration in Dance Education. While attending Bridgewater State, she performed with their Dance Company and choreographed their Dance Kaleidoscope and Winter Dance performances. Jill has training in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She has 20 years of teaching experience, in addition to being the Artistic Director of the dance studio she was most recently with. Miss Jill is a member of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers Association, an organization which gives back to their member students. Jill's choreography has won numerous awards at both the regional and national competitive levels. She is happy to bring dance to her hometown of Foxboro and share her passion of dance and performing to her students while watching them grow into not only well-trained dancers and performers, but more importantly, amazing individuals. Jill resides in Foxboro with her husband Whitney and their three children. The opening of Reflections Dance Academy is the realization of Miss Jill's dream.
Miss Olivia grew up in Spokane, WA, where she trained at Dance Emporium before moving to Mansfield, MA, where she continued her love of dance at Art in Motion. She is experienced in many styles, including contemporary, modern, ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Olivia is a recent graduate of Salem State University with a B.A. in dance and a concentration in modern. During her time there, she choreographed and danced for the Same Dance Ensemble and Repertory Dance Theatre. In addition, she worked as a liaison for the dance department. She graduated with dance honors and became a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). Olivia has a passion for teaching, feeling that the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with younger dancers is incredibly rewarding work. She believes in the power of dance to help shape people into confident and creative individuals who can use this wonderful art form to express themselves.
Miss Kristen has her Bachelors's and Masters's degrees in Early Education and spends her weekdays as a fun and creative preschool teacher. She loves teaching young minds and helping them learn and grow. Kristen started dancing when she was three years old and has experience in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. She was a student of Miss Jill's where she gained great dance knowledge. Kristen is a great teacher, friend, and cat mom. She is excited to combine her love of teaching and dance.
Miss Kirsten has always had a love for dance. She has been dancing since the age of three. She has experience in ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, pointe, Irish step, African, and more! Kirsten trained with Miss Jill in various styles growing up and as a teen demonstrated for ballet and jazz classes. She is now enrolled at Bridgewater State University where she studies accounting with a minor in dance. At Bridgewater, she has danced on teams such as: Refined Movement, Kinetic Edge, and handled Public Relations for D'Afrique. She has competed in Philadelphia and New York with her team Unknown Hype based out of Mattapan. Over the years Kirsten has learned self-confidence and self-expression through dance. She has a passion for teaching and sharing her love for dance. Kirsten is also currently pursuing a personal training and nutrition certification and hopes to spread her knowledge of dance and physical fitness to the dancers of Reflection's Dance Academy.
